Hi! I'm Leyla Salvadé,
I was born in Switzerland, raised with a melange of six different languages and cultures under one roof, and have lived in Lucerene, Phoenix, London, Los Angeles, and New York City.
I founded Standing Light in 2014 after being channeled the name 'Standing Light' in a powerful meditation while living in the City of Angels. I spent the next two years inner questing and pushing through every block of fear I could find that was holding me back from shining my brightest light. This is a continuous quest, as I'm an adventurer of light.
This journey led me to becoming a Spiritual Health Practitioner and Intuitive Healer. I'm also a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and a certified HeartMath Trainer.
No matter where I've lived, growing up in nature, instilled a deep connection within me to Mother Earth, and through my life path I have come to understand how we are all connected - we are ONE.
I'm an entrepreneur, spiritual health practitioner,
sustainability advocate, & an unshakable optimist dedicated to helping you connect to your HEART & discover your LIGHT.
When I was twelve my family and I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, a culture shock that is perfectly depicted in the movie Mean Girls, but 'what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!' And after high school, I moved to London to pursue my dream of studying fashion at Central Saint Martin's School of Art & Design, during which I began working for a sustainable fashion label and helped organize their London Fashion Week shows. After graduating CSM, I decided to leave fashion to pursue my passion, which at the time I define through words as it was an understanding, an essence in my heart I could feel. So, I decided to surrender and tap into my heart's intelligence and let that power guide me.
I ended up spending time at Plum Village, Thich Nhat Hanh’s Zen Buddhist Monastery, studying mindfulness and meditation, and spent years working with healers and teachers around the world practicing Past Life Regression, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Inner Child Work, while continuing my meditation practice.
